About C-28
C-28 consists of milled C-glass platelets with a nominal diameter of 300–1700 μm and a uniform 5 ± 2 μm thickness, yielding an aspect ratio of up to 560:1. The coarse size enables high loading in thick-film epoxy and vinyl-ester linings (typically 800 μm to 2 mm DFT) where a dense, overlapping lamellar barrier is required to resist hydrostatic pressure, immersion, and aggressive chemical attack. C-28 is recommended for trowel- and roller-applied systems. Available in three surface-treatment variants to suit epoxy, vinyl-ester, or untreated polymer matrices.
